MU Unit

Guide

What's different here

Everything MU Unit has of its own: ready-made Siege character, in-game voice and AI, Auto UP, Market, Shop and more.

At a glance

MU Unit is a server built for guild war. Here are the things you only find here. Each item links to the guide page with the details.

CS Character ready for the Siege

Every account can have a war character ready for the Castle Siege (CS, the battle for the castle). It comes with +13 equipment and zen to start. You do not need to spend months leveling up to contest the castle.

This character is for the Siege. It only attacks in the Castle Siege war, gains no experience, cannot reset and cannot enter Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle or Illusion Temple. To level up, use the other characters on the account.

In-game voice

Voice comes with the launcher and works inside the game. You do not need Discord or any other program. You choose who you talk to in the voice panel next to the chat.

  • Nearby: those close to your character, on the same map, hear you. The voice fades as the person moves away.
  • Party: those in your party hear you, on any map. This mode is Premium only.
  • Guild: every guild has the Main room (Attack and Defense for those in the Castle Siege) and 2 more free rooms, in the guild window (G key), Voice tab. The list shows each member's rank.

Single guild, no alliance

MU Unit has no alliances. There is only the guild, with the hierarchy inside it: Alliance Master (the guild owner), Guild Master, Staff, Vice GM and Battle Master. The recruiter is in the guild window (G key), which has the Guild, Members, Voice and Audit tabs.

The guild name has 4 to 8 letters and a guild can only be created at the Guild Master NPC. The guild has 40 members and each appointed Guild Master adds 20 more, up to 120.

AI in-game and on the site

The AI is an assistant that answers questions about the server: events, drops, classes, reset. In the game, press F12 and type your question. It is also on the site's Community page.

The AI is for Premium accounts only and replies in text only. Free accounts see a notice saying the feature is Premium only.

Report a problem

See something wrong in the game? Type /report and describe what happened. The report goes to the team with the map, position, and server log of the previous minutes.

The answer appears in a window in the game, in your language, as soon as you log in. If it's a game rule, the answer comes right away. If the team needs more details, the window asks, and you answer right there. When it asks, the Play Now button makes the server record for a few minutes everything it refuses from your character: repeat what went wrong and the team sees exactly where it froze.

Auto UP

Auto UP hunts for you: it walks to the monster, attacks and picks up zen and the marked items while you're away from the keyboard. Press F9 to open its window and Home to turn it on and off (or use /upauto). It hunts one spot at a time, has a short range and always returns to the point where it was turned on.

It doesn't try to pick up items dropped by another player's monster: that item stays reserved for the owner (and their party) for a few seconds, and Auto UP skips it until it's free.

Auto UP is Premium only. There the experience is the same as a Free account, without the +25% bonus for manual hunting, and with auto reset on it's a bit lower. Zen and items drop the same as for manual hunting.

Auto UP pauses when you click the ground, a monster, NPC or item (only that account, for a few seconds) and stays idle while an NPC shop, vault, trade, Chaos Machine, quest or Guild Master is open. It stops and warns you if you get moved (/move or teleport). On the Buffs tab it recasts buffs by itself, and on the Reset tab it runs /ezen by itself when it reaches 1.100.000.000 zen.

The Reset tab holds the automatic reset: for each attribute you choose Fixed (the final value) or % (a part of what is left after the fixed ones), the window shows an example with the points of the next reset, and the reset happens by itself when the character reaches the level.

Auto UP is exclusive to Premium. If the account stops being Premium while it is on, it stops by itself.

Market

In the Market you buy and sell items with other players, for zen or credits. The item is locked on the server until payment, so nobody walks away without paying. A fee is charged on every sale.

You use the Market in three places: in the game, in the launcher's Market tab and on the site's Market page. Credits are the ones in your site account, and 1 credit is worth R$ 1.

Item shop with credits

The Shop sells items for credits. The purchase goes straight to your Trade Vault, in the game, even while you are online. With no space in the vault, the purchase does not happen and nothing is charged. In the game, the Shop opens with the S key and the Market with the X key. The Trade Vault is withdraw-only: it receives purchases from the Shop and the Market, and you can no longer store anything in it.

Items appear in the Shop as the administration publishes them. If it is still empty, come back later.

5 rooms and the Castle Siege room

The server has 5 regular rooms plus one room just for the Castle Siege. Valley of Loren, Crywolf and Land of Trials run in that Siege room. The events (Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle and Illusion Temple) start in the Event Square, which is shared by all rooms.

The CS Character can't enter Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle or Illusion Temple.

Room 1 has no PK or PvP and is for characters with up to 50 resets. Characters past 50 resets are moved to Room 2 automatically.

Event schedule

Events follow a fixed schedule, always at the same times.

In the game, the bar at the top of the screen shows the next event. Below it appear the bosses alive at that moment in all rooms, with the room, map, and time remaining. With no boss alive, it shows where the next event is. Click the bar to see the full schedule; right-click hides it.

EventWhen
Invasions
Loren Deep (Valley of Loren)11h, 15h, 19h e 23h
CrywolfSaturday at 19h30
Castle SiegeThursday 21:00 to 22:30

Point-based Reset with a cap

On MU Unit the reset is point-based: with each reset your attributes go back to the class base and you receive points based on how many resets you have. The limit is 200 resets. Free and Premium have different level ranges and zen costs.

Reset is at the Reset NPC, in Lorencia or, for elves, in Noria. Premium players can also reset with /reset in the chat, from anywhere, or leave the automatic reset on in the Auto UP Reset tab.

Single account: site and game

Your site account is the same as your game account. You create it once at sign-up and use the same login and password for both. Up to 5 accounts are allowed per person.

Launcher with routes, Market and account

The launcher opens the game and does more than that. In it you choose the connection route (by city, such as São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) or leave it on Auto, and the Measure button finds the route with the lowest ping. It also has Characters, Market and Account. Voice audio is also set up in it. The game only opens through the launcher.

GMs and admins are identified

Staff accounts show up in the launcher with the GM or ADMIN tag. The characters on those accounts enter the game with that rank, and the rank only applies to staff members.

The staff never asks for your password. Support only through the official channels.
