Commands and keys
Everything you can type in the game chat and the client keys: voice, AI, FPS and ping, tray and more.
How to use commands
A command is a word that starts with / and that you type in the game's chat box, pressing Enter to open it and Enter again to send. Example: /pontos.
- Where <something> appears between angle brackets, replace it with what was asked for (a number, a map name, a player name).
- Where [something] appears in square brackets, what is inside is optional.
- Some commands have a cooldown: after using one, you must wait a few seconds to use it again.
- A command that charges Zen only charges if the command succeeds. Without enough Zen, the game warns you and nothing happens.
- In the game, type /comandos to see the short list and /comandos teclas to see the keys.
GM and admin commands exist, but they only work for staff and are not in this guide.
Commands for every player
These commands work for Free and Premium accounts. None of them has its own minimum level or resets, but some follow separate rules, such as /move (each map has its own level).
| Command | What it does | Cost and cooldown |
|---|---|---|
| /move <map> | Teleports you to the chosen map. If you type a name that does not exist, the game shows a few destinations. If the game refuses, it says why. Murderer PK cannot use it. | Each map has its own Zen price and minimum level. See /guia/mapas. |
| $ <message> (or /post, /anuncio) | Global announcement (Post channel): your message appears in blue, with your name, to players in all rooms. | 100,000,000 zen per message |
| /pontos | Shows your free points and your Strength, Agility, Vitality and Energy points (and Command, if you're a Dark Lord). | Free |
| /stats | Shows your current and maximum life, SD (shield), mana and AG, plus your points. | Free |
| /info [player] | Shows a character's profile: class, level, guild, PKs, resets, whether they're online, and which room and map they're in. With no name, it shows yours. | Free |
| /comandos [teclas] | Shows the list of commands in chat. With the word teclas, it shows the keyboard shortcuts. | Free |
| /f, /a, /v, /e, /c <points> | Distributes your free points: /f Strength, /a Agility, /v Vitality, /e Energy, /c Command (Dark Lord only). /l also works in place of /c. You can use a percentage, for example /f 50%. | Free |
| /f auto <points> (same for /a, /v, /e, /c) | Reserves this amount of points for the attribute: as you earn points, they are placed automatically until it is filled. With 0, it turns off. | Free |
| /redistribuir | Returns the points already placed in Strength, Agility, Vitality and Energy to your free points balance, so you can distribute them again. | Free. Doesn't work with a window open, in a personal shop, while dead or while teleporting. |
| /bau, /bau trade, /bau <number> | Chooses the vault you will open: trade is the Trade Vault, and the number picks the others. With nothing after it, it shows which vault you are in, without switching. The Free account uses the Trade Vault and vaults 1 and 2; Premium goes up to 20. A vault above your account's limit opens view-only. The Trade Vault only receives purchases from the Shop and the Market: you can only withdraw from it. | Free. Only with the vault closed. 1-second cooldown. |
| /evento (or /eventos) | Opens the panel with the times of every event and invasion, the same one as the bar at the top of the screen. | Free |
| /ezen | Turns 1 billion zen into an eZen item (the red star "Zen (1kkk)"), which you can store, trade, pass to the party or sell to the NPC for the same value. If the backpack is full, nothing is charged. | Charges a 10% fee: you need 1,100,000,000 zen for each eZen. |
| /upauto [on|off] | Turns Auto UP on or off through chat. It is the same button as in the Auto UP window. | Free, but Auto UP is Premium only. |
| /fase | Shows your progress stage and the next reward. | Free |
| /tempo | Shows the server's date and time. In the Castle Siege room, it shows how long until the war ends. | Free |
| /idioma | Shows the language the game is using for you. | Free |
| /report <what happened> | Sends a problem report to the team, with the map, position and the server log from the previous minutes. The reply arrives in a window in the game itself, in your language: you click OK, reply or, if the team asks, click Replay now and repeat what went wrong while the server records. A confirmed bug can earn a reward. | Free. 1-minute cooldown between reports. |
| /tradebau <name> | Requests a trade of the open vault with another player's, with items and zen (same as the trade button at the bottom of the vault). The other player accepts, both see each other's vault and confirm with the personal number or the authenticator code. | Free. Both with the vault open, in any room. The Trade Vault does not take part in trading. An item with Jewel of Harmony reinforcement or one that cannot be traded blocks the trade. |
| /re on, /re off, /re auto [password] | Controls whether you receive party, guild, duel and similar requests. on turns it on, off turns it off. auto accepts party requests on its own (with a password, only from those who used the same password). | Free |
| /war <guild> | Challenges another guild to a guild war, by its name. Only the guild's Alliance Master can declare. | Free |
| /zen | Refills the CS Character's zen when it is running low. Only the CS Character can use it. | Free. Only refills if you have less than 20,000,000 zen, and leaves you with 100,000,000. 3-second cooldown. |
/reset and /buff are Premium shortcuts (see Premium-only commands). On the Free account, the game warns you in red where the NPC that does the same thing is. The typed /pk is staff only. PK goes down by hunting monsters: each PK level requires 30 minutes killing monsters. To clear it right away, talk to the Clear PK NPC, in Devias (225, 60), Lost Tower (187, 81) or Kanturu (66, 179), who charges 100,000,000 zen per PK kill and clears up to 20 kills at a time (talk again to clear more).
The CS Character is the special Castle Siege character. See everything about it at /guia/personagem-cs.
Chat channels
The symbol at the start of the message chooses who reads it. Guild and announcements reach all rooms. In chat, the channels are called All, Party, Guild and Post; the filters are on F4.
| How to write | Who reads it |
|---|---|
| <message> | Whoever is near you. |
| ~ <message> | Your party. |
| @ <message> | Your entire guild. |
| @> <message> | Saves the guild notice. Alliance Master only. |
| $ <message> (or /post, /anuncio) | Every player, in every room. Shows in blue, with your name. Costs 100,000,000 zen. |
The first time you enter the game, a window shows the main shortcuts and commands. It only comes back when the list changes. To see it again, type /comandos teclas.
Teleport shortcuts
Besides /move, the server has short commands that take you straight to a fixed spot on a map. They work for Free and Premium.
| Command | Where it leads | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| /bar | Lorencia | None |
| /irbau | Lorencia (at a different spot, not the /bar one) | None |
| /igreja | Devias | Level 50 or higher |
| /pvp1, /pvp2, /pvp3 | Three spots in Devias to duel | Level 50 or higher |
| /arena1 | Stadium (arena) | Level 30 or higher |
| /arena2, /arena3, /arena4 | Stadium (arena) | Level 50 or higher |
| /arena5 | Stadium (arena) | Only for those with up to 10 Resets |
These shortcuts don't work with a window open, in a personal shop, while dead or while already teleporting.
Client keys
These keys belong to the game itself (the MU Unit Main). You can change the keys in the game Options. They only work while the game window is focused, except F6, which brings the game back even when hidden. The ones that toggle things show a chat message confirming.
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| F6 | Hides the game window in the Windows clock tray. Press F6 again or click the icon to bring it back. Only works with the game in windowed mode. |
| F7 | Turns the automatic left mouse button click on or off. |
| F8 | Turns the automatic right mouse button click on or off. |
| F9 | Opens the Auto UP window. The Home key turns UP on and off. |
| F10 | Turns the 3D camera on or off. |
| F11 | Shows or hides your FPS (frames per second) and your ping (connection delay to the server) in the corner of the screen. The ping color tells you whether it's good or bad. |
| F12 | Opens and closes the in-game AI window. Premium only. |
| S | Opens and closes the item Shop (buy with Credits; the item goes straight to the Trade Vault). Safe zone only. With the inventory open, S still opens your personal shop. |
| M | Opens the Move window, with the destinations and the reason for each block. |
| Tab | Opens the big map. Right-click to walk to a place, NPC or portal. |
| X | Opens and closes the Market, where players buy and sell items. |
| J | Opens and closes the Jewel Bank, next to the inventory. It also opens from the jewel button at the bottom of the inventory. |
| Ctrl + Shift | Turns PK mode on or off: it's like holding down the Ctrl key, so you can attack other players. |
| Shift + K | Hides or shows the wings. |
| Shift + O | Hides or shows capes. |
| Shift + L | Hides or shows the shadows. |
| B | Talk on voice, when voice is in Hold a key mode. |
| Ctrl + H | Switches the voice mode (Near, Party, Guild). |
Shift + K, Shift + O and Shift + L are saved: next time you open the game, they stay the way you left them. They don't work while you're typing in chat.
Playing with 3 windows
If you open the game more than once on the same computer, each window has its own combination to hide to the tray. That way you only hide the window you want.
| Window | Key to hide and show |
|---|---|
| 1st window | F6 |
| 2nd window | Shift + F6 |
| 3rd window | Ctrl + F6 |
| 4th window | Alt + F6 |
| 5th window onward | Only from the icon in the system tray |
Each window's tray icon shows its number and the character's name, so you don't get lost. When you hide the window, the auto-click is released.
In-game voice
MU Unit has voice chat built into the game. Four small buttons appear on screen: microphone, sound, settings (gear) and mode. Click the microphone to turn yours on or off and the sound to turn what you hear on or off.
In the settings window, the Chat tab has two choices under How to talk.
- Detect your voice automatically: the game notices when you speak and transmits. This is the default mode.
- Hold a key: you're only heard while you hold the key. The default key is B. To change it, click the Key box, press the new key (Mouse 4 and Mouse 5 also work) and use Esc to cancel.
In the same tab, under Who you talk to, you choose who hears you. The number next to each mode shows how many players can hear you in that mode right now.
| Mode | Who hears you |
|---|---|
| Nearby | Those near you |
| Party | Your party, on any map. Premium only. |
| Guild | Your guild's voice rooms, found on the Voice tab of the guild window (G key). Every guild has the Main room (Attack and Defense in the Castle Siege) and 2 more free rooms. |
- Ctrl + H switches mode without opening any window.
- To mute one person just for yourself, use the list of who is talking. This changes nothing for the others.
- You need a microphone connected to the computer. In the Microphone tab you choose which one to use, adjust the sensitivity and volume, and can turn on noise and echo cancellation.
In-game AI (F12)
The AI is an assistant inside the game. Press F12 or click the AI button to open the window, type your question and press Enter to send. It answers in text about the game: where to level up, where an item drops, how to reach a map, event times.
The AI is Premium only. On a Free account, the button appears greyed out and shows this info.
